Launchpad Youth Community Inc is seeking professionals, local community members to join the highly experienced Board of Management at Launchpad Youth Community.

We are passionate about empowering young people and are looking for skilled and committed professionals to help take Launchpad Youth Community to the next level.

Who’s on the current Board?

This is an opportunity to make positive change in young people’s lives.

Launchpad Youth Community Inc. is on Gadigal and Wangal Land of the Eora Nation. We prevent youth homelessness and empower young people to successfully achieve independence. Many of the youth and children we serve are First Nations people.

We are seeking Board Members who may have worked in youth services, housing, homelessness, governance, business management, finance or fundraising or have experienced homelessness. We particularly encourage First Nations people across a range of age groups who are well-connected among Indigenous Australian people, families, communities and networks.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve not been on a Board before. We’re interested in your broader experiences, perspectives, knowledge and networks and how they can influence the organisation, practices and culture at Launchpad. Your strengths can be personal or professional, with some connection to the local area desirable.

Before submitting your application, please read Launchpad’s Code of Conduct, which ensures a culturally safe and respectful space for First Nations people, young clients and their children, Board members and staff. Our Privacy Policy is also available for further information.

Meeting ten times a year at Erskineville in Sydney, this is your chance to influence the organisation, practices and culture at Launchpad.

Closing date:
11.59pm on Friday 10 November 2023
