This is an opportunity to make positive change in young people’s lives.

Launchpad Youth Community Inc. is on Gadigal and Wangal Land of the Eora Nation. We strive to prevent youth homelessness and empower young people to successfully achieve independence. We are a non-government service provider for young people facing homelessness in the City of Sydney and Inner West areas, with NSW Department of Communities and Justice and City of Sydney Council included among funding bodies.

We seek new Board members and welcome a cross-section of the public to apply. We particularly encourage First Nations people or people with legal, governance, business management, finance, fund raising, youth services, housing or homelessness experience, across a range of age groups.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve not been on a Board before.

We’re interested in your broader experiences, perspectives, knowledge and networks and how they can influence the organisation, practices and culture at Launchpad.

Your strengths can be personal or professional, with some connection to the local area desirable.

First Nations identified and executive Board positions (such as Treasurer) are available as are participation fees.

Closing date:
11.59pm on Wednesday 27 October 2021
